terms
last updated 28 october 2026. these terms apply when you join the waitlist or buy from righto, operated by righto cards, ABN 65 876 603 917, PO Box 785, Albany DC WA 6331, australia.
1. what you're buying
a righto pack is a one-off physical pack of greeting cards for one year of your dates, plus free reminder emails (and texts, if you add a mobile number) about a week before each date. the number of cards depends on the pack you choose. gifts are not included.
2. prices and payment
prices are in australian dollars and include delivery within australia. prices shown include GST where applicable. joining the waitlist is free and we never charge you for it. checkout isn't open yet; when it opens, payment is taken when you place your order, including pre-orders, and is processed by shopify payments. we don't see or store your card details.
3. pre-orders
valentine's 2027 pre-orders close on 12 january 2027 and are posted by 31 january 2027. if we can't post your pack by then, we'll tell you as soon as we know and you can choose to wait or get a full refund.
4. your dates and details
you're responsible for giving us the right dates, names and address. we print what you enter. if you notice a mistake, email us before your pack is posted and we'll fix it for free.
5. designs
you pick the exact card for each occasion when you build your pack, or leave a row on "you pick" and we choose that one. designs shown on the site match what you can select at checkout. one apology card design contains strong language; you can pick the clean magpie instead.
6. renewal
your pack covers one year. nothing renews automatically in your first year. we'll email you about a month before your year ends to ask whether you want another pack. the yearly pack is a one-off purchase, not a subscription, and there's no auto-renew. joining the waitlist never sets up any payment or renewal. if we ever offer auto-renew, it will be clearly opt-in at checkout, with notice before each charge and easy cancellation.
7. change of mind and cancellations
you can cancel for a full refund any time before your pack is posted. because each pack is personalised with your dates and names, we don't offer change-of-mind refunds after it's posted.
8. your rights under australian consumer law
our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the australian consumer law. if your pack is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you're entitled to a replacement or refund. nothing in these terms limits those rights.
9. reminders
reminder emails and texts are part of the service. we'll do our best to send them on time, but email and sms delivery depends on third parties, so please don't rely on them as your only record of important dates. you can turn reminders off any time.
